Well folks, we are sad to say that the Christmas storm brought mostly rain to Cain, leaving only a few centimeters on the ground. Mount Cain base area – accommodations and Turks Tavern – will be open from December 27th onwards. And on December 31st Cove (a fun band, with a saxophone!) will be live in the Tavern.
We will continue to monitor the conditions, pray to Ullr and dance for snow. I think I remember Jen telling me to put a spoon under my pillow – so let’s all try that tonight – It can’t hurt!
The lifts will run once there is enough snow to safely do so. Until then, a frosty beverage and some whiskey jack chow mien sound great.
