Sitting here in limbo
Waiting for the snow to fall…
Well folks, it’s bad news. Mount Cain will not open this weekend, Dec.17th. The weather has not been in our favour, and the forecast isn’t great, so it’s time to make lemonade!
This addition delay means Helen, Casey, their crew and volunteers will be able to continue the lodge updates uninterrupted by the call of the mountains. This amazing crew will be just like Santa’s little elves preparing our magical place for a holiday opening like no other! Thank you to the many staff and volunteers that are preparing our new ski shop space, cleaning our tavern and so much more!
Mount Cain’s opening day is now scheduled for Wednesday December 27, 2023.
May the winter solstice bring the wintry weather and snow we are wishing for!
Until then, I’ll just be sitting here in limbo,
