There will be ongoing road work on the Mount Cain access road for the next couple of weeks. Brush cutting, grading, and road surfacing. There should be only short delays, but please drive cautiously, don’t pass until signaled, and leave lots of room when passing heavy equipment.

Mount Cain is looking for certified ski and snowboard instructors. Candidates must have a valid CASIA, CASI, or (ACA – CSC / CSCF) certification. Successful candidates would be available to work weekends with being available to assist with learn to ski and snowboard programs on Mondays being preferred. Snow school employees will also have the opportunity to work in the ski shop as part of our snow school ski shop team.
Ski shop technician wage: $17.9/hour, Ski/snowboard instructor: $18.54/hour
Millwright Job Description: Monitor and maintain all lift equipment to ensure safe, reliable lift transportation.
Certified Millwright is ideal, but experience is considered.
Wage: S35/hour
24 hours/week (weekend and Monday operations)
You may be the right fit for the Millwright position if:
- You want to work at a one-of-a-kind, remote ski hill that only uses surface lifts
- You are comfortable working in adverse weather conditions while performing labour-intensive duties
- You are comfortable working at heights
