Come join us with one of the Cain favorite celebrations – Viking Fest, this Saturday March 8th.
This is the time to bring out your finest viking attire to wow the crowd of fellow vikings. Be ready to fly down the mountain in a dual slalom race then test your accuracy with axe throwing and your strength in tug of war. The brews will be flowing from wonderful beer sponsors – Devils’ Bath & Cumberland Brewing.
The following weekend Spring Break commences and we will be open the following days:
Full mountain open: March 15–23 & March 28–30 and Lower mountain open: March 31
The 4th Annual Big Wave Gathering is happening on Saturday March 15th. Some of you may have had the joy of entering this in the previous years but for those who don’t know what it is The Big Wave Gathering consists of a surf flow freestyle competiton / jam / banked slalom race. There will be a BBQ, good tunes, tons of amazing prizes and guarenteed lots of smiles.
Currently the Ridge run is sitting at -2.6 °C and depending on where you look at the forecast there could be a nice amount of snow and/or the ‘r’ type of precipitation… if the temps can stay below 0 ºc everything will be in our favour.
