The weather is finally shifting into gear and we have snow in the forecast. I’m sure many of you have your favorite weather tab open on your browser at all times checking back. We should be seeing some snow starting to fall this evening and it doesn’t have any plans on stopping for the next while (I’d say go look for yourself since it’s pretty exciting). A few links to take a peek: Snowforecast, SpotWx and Real Time Conditions @ Cain. It’s currently sitting at -3ºc in the parking lot.
Since there is snow on the way a reminder that you all drivers must carry chains —make sure they’re the right size and know how to use them! The conditions may vary and a reminder that Uphill traffic is only from dawn until 1 pm. Downhill traffic is from 1 pm until 6 pm. It is mandatory to carry chains. Unprepared drivers put other drivers and their passengers at risk.
See you on the slopes,
Kim
