What a weekend! The first 12 Hours of Pain Ski Patrol Fundraiser was a huge success and we couldn’t have done it without YOU.
Here’s how it went
• 496 total laps completed
• 106,000 vertical meters climbed
• 25 laps – Solo winner
• 31 laps – Pairs winner
• 28 laps – Team winner
… and a whole lot of high-fives, good times, and incredible community spirit cheering on the racers.
A massive thank you to everyone who came out, raced, cheered, volunteered, and supported. Extra love to our amazing volunteers—this event truly couldn’t have happened without you.
We raised approximately $3,000 for ski patrol!
Still want a 12 Hours of Pain shirt?
We’ve got some left! Email Darren at danonson@mountcain.com to grab yours. All proceeds go straight to supporting ski patrol.
Shoutout to our incredible sponsors: Valhalla Pure Outfitters, Arc’teryx, Stellar Equipment, Ski Tak Hut, SOS Gear, Island Alpine Guides, Kindred Snowboards and Skis, Rusted Rake Brewing, Cumberland Brewing, Athletic Brewing, and Campbell River SAR. We couldn’t have done this without your support!
Start training and rallying your squad—next year’s 12 Hours of Pain is already calling.
For the sad news we all don’t want to think about… we’re heading into our final weekend of the season.
Lifts will be spinning Saturday, April 12th from 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Don’t forget to visit the ski shop for the end of season sale!
See you out there one last time before we toss on the storage wax and store away our gear!
